About me
I have a very beautiful Italian friend
who used to stand out for her long blonde dreadlocks, which she would twist up
into a bun. She surprised us all one day when she suddenly chopped them all off.
When asked why she acted so impulsively she said, il cambiamento è vita, 'change
is life'. That sentence has stuck with me ever since. I think this is why I am happiest
when learning and trying new things;
it makes me feel alive. I enjoy working with other people for the same reason; I learn from them, and I change for the better.
A few years ago a friend and I won
a Creative Conscience award and the certificate read, "'Be the change that you wish to see in the world' - Mahatma Gandhi". I really do believe that change
can be powered by design, and I hope that my creativity will one day make a positive difference to other people's lives.
